“No Bad Blood” – Asiwaju Mashood Shittu, National Coordinator of Kwankwaso National Network Dismisses Suggestion Of Discord Between Sen Musa Kwankwaso, Gov Abba Yusuf

The National Coordinator of Kwankwaso National Network (KNN), Asiwaju Mashood Shittu (AMS), has addressed the recent exit of two prominent House of Representatives members, Aliyu Sani Madaki Gini (Kano Municipal) and Alhassan Rurum (Rano/Kibiya/Bunkure), from the movement.

According to reports, both representatives have been known as close allies of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the founder of the Kwankwasiyya Movement.

In his statement, Shittu asserted that the movement is “neither moved nor shocked” by the decision of the two legislators to leave, suggesting that their actions align with previous concerns over their commitment to the group’s values.

According to Shittu, suspicions of anti-party activities involving the two representatives had surfaced prior to their formal announcement of departure.

“They simply acted quickly before the movement could officially announce their expulsion,” he added.

AMS, a former National Chairman of the Allied National Party, dismissed any suggestion of discord within the Kwankwasiyya Movement’s leadership.

He emphasized that relations remain amicable between Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, stressing that there is “no bad blood” between the two influential political figures.

“The Kwankwasiyya Movement, with its deep roots in Kano State, has become a significant force in Nigeria’s political landscape, driven by Kwankwaso’s vision and ideological stance.

“The recent exits, while noteworthy, are not anticipated to alter the movement’s direction or diminish its influence in the region,” he concluded
