Better By Far : University Of Ilorin Reduces Fees Over Concern For Students’ Welfare
The University of Ilorin has taken into account the concerns raised by students regarding the recent increase in school fees, and as a result, has decided to lower the fees. This information was gathered after a post was made on the university’s official Facebook page, where it was announced that the management has made the decision to reduce the fees with the welfare of the students in mind.
The post read, “In order to prioritize the welfare of our students and their parents, the University of Ilorin management has announced revised school charges. These charges reflect a significant reduction from the ones previously released over the weekend.”
Pictures posted on the university’s Facebook page depict the revised fee structure, which now indicates that the highest amount to be paid by freshmen in the College of Health Sciences is #110,000, excluding additional charges. This is a notable decrease compared to the initial highest fee amount of #254,000.
