Kwara PDP : Saraki’s Humanitarianism For Kwara State, A Proud achievement For PDP, Congratulates Kamalud-deen University On Commissioning

The Kwara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) extends its commendations to Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki (CON), President of the 8th Nigerian Senate and Waziri of Ilorin, for his remarkable acts of benevolence towards Ilorin and Kwara State. Despite not holding public office since 2019, Dr. Saraki has continuously demonstrated a commitment to people-oriented leadership.

In a recent statement by the state Publicity Secretary, Mr. Olusegun Olusola Adewara (Sholyments), the PDP acknowledges that Dr. Saraki’s exceptional contributions to the recently commissioned Kamalud-deen University exhibit his compassionate nature and unwavering dedication to serving the people, irrespective of his official position.

The PDP praises Dr. Saraki’s significant donations aimed at fostering the development and sustainability of Kamalud-deen University in Ilorin. The university, an Islamic center of learning initiated by the Late Kamalud-deen Al Addabiy, receives a generous full scholarship package worth one hundred and forty million naira for 100 deserving students, as well as substantial financial contributions for the overall project development.

The Party recognizes that Dr. Saraki’s involvement with Kamalud-deen University, from its inception, not only enhances the Islamic teachings but also celebrates the rich heritage of Ilorin while putting the Emirate on the global stage.

Furthermore, the PDP emphasizes that politicians in power must not misconstrue Dr. Saraki’s benevolence as political rivalry. Instead, they should be inspired by his actions to prioritize the utilization of taxpayer funds for the betterment and progress of Kwara State’s constituents.

Additionally, the PDP in Kwara State extends its congratulations to the Ansarul-Islam Society of Nigeria and the management of Kamalud-deen University for their visionary efforts to immortalize the spiritual leader of the Islamic movement, Sheik Muhammad Kamalud-deen Al Adabiy, through the establishment of this prestigious educational institution. The Party recognizes the tremendous commitment required to achieve this significant milestone, ensuring that their contributions will forever be remembered in the annals of history.
