PAAF Commissions Motorized Borehole In Kwara, Receives Commendation from Ohoro of Shao
The Prince ademola adegbite Foundation (PAAF) celebrated a significant milestone as it officially commissioned a motorized borehole in the Oju Oja community of Shao town, Kwara State.
This remarkable project aims to address the pressing issue of water scarcity and improve access to clean and safe drinking water for the residents.
The PAAF, a non-profit organization founded by Prince Ademola Adegbite oyeniyi, has been dedicated to improving the well-being and quality of life for communities in need across Nigeria. Recognizing the vital need for clean water, PAAF initiated the drilling of a motorized borehole in the Oju Oja community.
He disclosed that the project was not politically motivated, but an humanitarian gesture and help for the community.
The commissioning ceremony took place on Sunday, November 5, witnessing the event were members of the 2023 kwara PDP state House of assembly candidates, Including Hon. Isiaq Saka Saad, candidate for Ilorin North West, Hon. Abubakar wankasi, candidate for Ilorin Central, Hon. Maigidansama candidate for Ilorin east and Hon. Shuaib Arola candidate for Egilanwa/ Dongari amongst others to felicitate the project.
Commenting on the project, His Royal Majesty, Dr. Obalowu Job Atolagbe, Ayanwola IV, the Ohoro of Shao lauded PAAF for such an insightful project when it is direly needed.
His Royal Majesty expressed deep appreciation and commendation to the Prince Ademola adegbite Foundation for their commitment and efforts in addressing the water scarcity issue faced by the community. He emphasized the substantial positive impact the newly commissioned motorized borehole would have on the lives of the residents, particularly in terms of health and overall well-being.
Equipped with advanced filtration systems, the motorized borehole guarantees the provision of clean and safe drinking water. This critical infrastructure will significantly reduce waterborne diseases prevalent in the community, thereby improving the overall health and quality of life of the residents. Additionally, the borehole will eliminate the need for residents to travel long distances in search of water, allowing them more time to engage in productive activities and contribute to the overall development of the community.
