MOK Foundation Empowers Small-Scale Business Owners in Igbonna

The Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation has donated N200,000 to empower small-scale business owners in Igbonna and its surrounding areas of Oyun LG, Kwara State. This is part of the foundation’s commitment to support over 2,000 small-scale business owners in Offa and Oyun local government areas.
During the event, coordinators Mr. Saheed Lawal and Alhaji Tunde Salaudeen shared their insights on how the funds will be strategically utilized to create a positive impact. The foundation believes that by empowering the community, a ripple effect of positive change can be created.
One of the unique aspects of the initiative is the transparent and accountable system that has been established. Beneficiaries will form groups and circulate the funds within these groups, providing weekly progress reports through their group executives. This approach not only ensures responsible use of the funds but also fosters collaboration and community building.
The MOK Foundation is committed to making a difference in the lives of those it serves, and this initiative is a testament to its unwavering dedication to the community. Together, the foundation and the community can create a brighter future for the region.
